Programs

Computer Information Systems is a discipline within the Computer & Office Technology department. Originally started as the Data Processing department in the late 1970's, SCCCC has a long tradition of providing educational opportunities for computer professionals in the Blue Water area.

There are currently four CIS Associate degree programs:

SCCCC also has an Applications Certificate.

Facilities

Located in the A.J. Theisen building, CIS makes use of a variety of computer facilities at SCCCC. Modern microcomputers are networked to Windows 2000 servers and the Internet. Laser and color printing are available in all computer labs. The CIS program has Unix machines available for class usage.
