XHTML Project Preliminary Analysis Summary

Objective:

The Web Site development cycle begins with Conceptualization and Analysis. The purpose of this in class exercise is to summarize the conceptualization and analysis activities that have been done thus far on the XHTML Project.

Instructions:

Based on the XHTML Project guidelines provided on the class website and the specific grading breakdown handed out in class, prepare an Executive Summary briefly describing the following:

• Purpose & Goals of the web site
   
• Audience analysis (describe the target audience)
   
• Storyboard (wireframe) showing the organization of the site. Include the naming scheme for the pages and a brief sketch or description of what each page contains.
   
• CSS Prototype page showing most of the elements
   
• Content sheets (see textbook page 391) for the main pages [optional]

The information in this Preliminary Executive Summary will also be included in the completed project documentation (in final format of course), so this in class exercise is a good way to get a jump start on that process.
