Modify and enhance PHP Datebook v1.0 to move from "proof of concept" to a useful application.
Datebook v2.0 must meet the following specifications:
Initial display should be the current month's calendar.
The current date should be highlighted
Dates that have entries should be indicated somehow (icon, color, etc.)
Clicking on a date should show the entries for that date (or mouseover...)
Calendar must have "date navigation" (previous month, next month...)
v2.0 must include the ability to search for entries (by date, type, description, etc.)
Search results should be displayed in an "agenda/task list" format (listing ordered by date)
All administrative options should be moved to a separate page, requiring a login
There is a MUCH more that can be done. Be sure your project meets the requirements above before adding enhancements.
Follow proper development procedures using appropriate "testing" and "release" directories (it's probably not a good idea to replace version 1.0 yet)
Be prepared to demonstrate your working program in the AJT101 lab at the beginning of class on the due date.
